Zoë

Zoë is the little worker of my two girls. She loves doing things together with you and is truly ‘switched on’. Curious, enthusiastic and always up for something fun; this lady is certainly not short of personality. Everything she does, she does wholeheartedly, whether it’s playing, working, training or cuddling.

And that dedication quite often comes with plenty of vocal support ;-). She hardly ever barks, but with her sweet grumbling and cheerful chatter she makes her enthusiasm perfectly clear. Zoë likes to let you know she’s there, and above all that she is really looking forward to something.

She is very people-oriented and loves attention and company. She also gets along fine with other dogs, especially males and dogs of other breeds. Other Ridgeback females, though, she would rather keep at a little distance. With one big exception: Zhara. That is her big ‘sister’, her best friend, and she adores her.

Zoë was bred by the Swiss breeder Eva Lachat of kennel Savuti and is a daughter of CRUFTS BOB Ch. Savuti Chitonga Yara by George (Yara) and Dharuba Mission Mars (Yaru), owned by Marion Stoek (stoek-rhodesianridgebacks).

In 2025 Zoë became Dutch Junior Champion, something we are of course very proud of. Since then we have collected several points, both in the Netherlands and abroad, on the way to other titles. But for us, showing should above all stay fun and never become a must, so we take our time. In the end, the quality of a dog is not determined by the number of titles before or after her name. It is in the dog herself.

Zoë; my little whirlwind, my shadow, my enthusiast, my forever puppy.
I simply love her.
